Frankly, I’m tired of striving. I’m tired of the story that I am never good enough exactly as I am. I’m tired of the teaching that we should always and forever be working towards some goal that exists just beyond the horizon. Therefore, we have to just keep moving. Keep pushing. Keep growing. Keep learning and doing and striving, for more.
Our world is changing isn’t it? There’s so much to talk about and think about! So much to explore and learn and discuss. So much work that needs to be done. So much play that can help us get there. Learning to see and inhabit those messy spaces is hard. And, it is the path to aliveness.
I've been imagining myself talking to you for the longest time. Thinking about it. Dreaming about it. Writing about it. And now, finally, you and I are in conversation. I think about you and I wonder what it is I have to offer you. Already, I want to say Thank you, Thanks so much for stopping by.
More and more in the last few years, I have been obviously and intentionally on a Hero’s Journey. We all are really, whether we know it or not. Each journey we take, each brave calling we listen to, gives us the courage to expand into more and more of who we are.
I’m participating in my first-ever Studio Tour on October 21 and 22! I’m kind of nervous. This will be the first time I’m inviting the public to visit my studio — the space where I work and create and play. Even though I’ve led workshops, this is different. I’m stepping out of the workshop leader role and into being me, an artist. It’s nerve-wracking.
